Miss INDEPENDENT!
I wanted to say thanks to all of you that was so concerned about Josie. I am proud to say that Josie is doing GREAT! I guess we will never know what was wrong with her. She's going to the bathroom all by herself. She's learned some crazy things in such little amounts of time. She can pull her pants down. A little too well if you ask me. (Megan and Joel know that at first hand). Her new word of the week is ME. She thinks she can just do everything by herself. She likes to dress herself but sometimes it just doesn't work out as well as she planned. She loves shoes. She will try on any pair of shoes if its in her sight. She loves to talk on any phone and even if its not a phone. she will say ....HI Boppa, bye or Hi Nana, bye. Its just so cute. She loves to sing anything and everything. We have to sing to her every night to get her to sleep. The only one that I can think of when I'm so tired is I'm a child of god. Only the first verse, I just keep repeating myself over and over. I know I need to remember the rest of the song. She can say so many words now. I thought she would never start. Now I don't know if she will ever stop. Sorry the video didn't work... I'll try to show you how Josie can talk on the phone another day.

awww josie is so precious! independence is a good thing...most of the time :-p heck i wish i could send kaleb into the bathroom instead of dealing with his nasty diapers. seriuosly you are soooo lucky.
what a cutie! how fun that she's doing lots of funny things...does she pull her pants down a lot? that's cute that she will talk on the "phone" to boppa and nana! that is such a fun age! way to go on getting her potty trained! i am the same way when i'm trying to get aiden to sleep...i just sing the same song over and over and it's usually 'i'm a child of god' or 'i love to see the temple.' i can't wait to see the video of her talking!
so what are your plans for christmas? we are going to be at my parents the saturday and sunday after christmas...maybe you should come to church in the old ward...or we could try to find some other time to say hi. let's try :)
hi mel! our whole saturday is pretty much booked since we haven't been there forever--my parents made lots of plans but we'll see what we can work out. if we don't get over then, we might have to shoot for another time. that's the hard part about living so far away and not visting often...our family keeps us busy--but we like it that way :)
Jocelyn likes to be sung too also. And she gets so upset when she can't put her legs in her pants and has fits over everything lately. just the beginning, I suppose.
Oh how fun Melanie. I can't wait until Josie and Brayden can play together. She sounds like she's got a mind of her own and wants to do things her way, heck why not? How cute. love ya
so cute. got to love the me part. She is so cute and getting so big. I love when kids her age talk. It's so cute.
Oh, I love you Humpherys girls!! You all have your mom's talent for writing. I get such a kick out of reading yours, and Steph's and Michelle's blogs. Does Lisa have one? I just got through reading all of them and ended up on yours that's why I'm commenting on yours about all of them.
Love you all cousin-sisters!
What a doll. I wish I could meet her. She sounds so much fun. I just read your last post, I am sorry. That is so crazy. Sick babies are the very worst thing about being a Mom. I hate it so bad. I'm the worst with doctors. I just don't say anything and always leave angry and with no answers. I'm so glad she is feeling better.
