All three of us have had this head cold off and on for three weeks. Josie seems to have it now with the runny nose but it might be due to teething. She's getting her two year old molars in. Three more to go and she's got all of her baby teeth. I was able to get all of my baking done for the holidays in the second week of December so that was good.
We haven't had that many parties to go to yet. We have most of the family parties closer to Christmas. We have had some ward get together and they have been great. The RS dinner was great but I was only able to stay for the dinner and not the program but I heard it was good. The ward Christmas party was great. We had a good dinner and amazing dessert. We had Cheese Cake. I love Cheese Cake. Then we make Gingerbread houses. Elliot got this crazy idea to make a basketball court/stadium. It turned out pretty good after I made the basketball pole and back board for him. He was so funny he was all I'm going to go look around at the other tables and see what they made.... UH gingerbread houses. He's so silly. But that's why I love him.
Josie in her Christmas dress. I tried to curl her hair but her hair is so thin it doesn't stay curled for very long. I just don't know if I should just cut it short and give her bangs... I just don't know. Any suggestions are welcome. Grow long or go short?
We went out to dinner last night with my mom and dad to a Chinese restaurant in SLC. I can't remember the name of it but it was great. They had some gift cards that they needed to use up so they invited us. It was great fun and even better company. Thanks mom and dad for letting us tag along.
Josie loves to put on my mom's sunglasses and it makes me laugh each time. I think she looks like a blind child. HA!
I am so excited for Christmas. I love seeing my family and I think it will even be more fun this year because Josie will kind of know what's going on. I think the only thing that is left on my list to do is to take Josie to see Santa. We always ask her what Santa says and she say's, "HO, HO, HO." I just want to see if she will like him or be scared. I let you guys know what happens. Happy HOLIDAYS:)

Josie looks so pretty in her Christmas dress. Brayden waved at the picture of you and Elliot, maybe he's starting to recognize you guys now, I hope so. Isn't the Christmas season so much fun. P.F. Changs is sooo good huh, that's the good kind of Chinese food.
Elliot's basketball gingerbread thing was awesome and very creative. good job brother. The blind child comment made me laugh. ha you funny little sister you
eliiot's gingerbread basketball stadium was so creative...nice job with the backboards mel! josie is so adorable in her christmas dress! it's a hard to decide what to do with little girl hair (i wouldn't know but tarese has told me...) decisions are the worst! :)
how exciting that josie is almost done teething--aiden is just starting and he is grumpy!!!
i can't wait to hear about josie's reaction to santa! how fun!
I think Josie would look darling with short hair and bangs. I can't wait for my baby's hair to be long enough to do something other than stick straight up. Not that I'm excited for her to grow up, I just want to play with her hair.
i'll bet josie gets all shy around santa... lol! she is so cute in her christmas dress! i think you should keep her hair long and maybe give her some bangs. you can do a lot more with long hair. it is also nice at that age to be able to get pull your hair back and not have it in your face.
it sounds like you guys have been busy bees. sounds fun though! just from the pictures it looks like you ate at p.f. changs chines asian restraunt which is soooo yummy!!!!!
the ward party was such a blast! i love the basketball court. i'm sad we had to leave to put kaleb to bed :*(
Nice update, Melanie! I love the blind child comment and I didn't see Elliot's creative hoops. I agree about w/Megan about it being PF Changs. Jocelyn's molars haven't broken through yet...maybe I should check. I think long or short hair would be cute but honestly I am biased toward long.
What a cute little family!!! I was going to come and say hi @ Jenny and Tanner's wedding, but then I couldn't find ya when I was wondering around. Anyway, Happy Holidays!
