I'm so glad it's Friday

This week has been pretty rough on our little family. It all started Friday night when Joise kept having accidents. She would tell me that she needed to go potty but then when it would come out she would say OUCH! I thought she might have a bladder infection. I took her to the doctor on Saturday night and it was so hard to get her to pee. We were able to get a a drop out of her. Only because we bribed her with a Popsicle. The said no bladder infection and just give her baths. I was so frustrated... She wouldn't even stay in the bath long enough for it to do something. I hate going to the doctor and feeling so dumb when you leave.

All week I had to deal with Josie telling me she had to pee and she wouldn't sit on that darn potty. Tuesday she threw up on me. I don't know if she was just upset because I was trying to get her to take a nap or if she was actually sick. I had to take a shower due to all the throw up all over me. Elliot held her in the bathroom while I was singing in the shower and she fell asleep. Thank Heavens.

My Dad and Elliot gave her a blessing that night. I'm so grateful for the priesthood.
That night Josie threw up on me again. She kept telling me she had to go potty but I thought she was stalling because it was time for bed. So I take her and of coarse she won't go on the potty. She's sitting on my lap with a pull up on and starts peeing. (Pull ups aren't made for a lot of pee.) At that same moment she starts throwing up all over me again. Honestly!

Wednesday comes around and nothing had changed. I decided to take her to the pediatrician and see if they could figure out was wrong. The doctor had to get a urine sample and Josie would just not do it. We tried everything. We decide to try the cathater. I really didn't want to do this but there was no other way. The nurse just scared the pee out of her. THANK GOODNESS!!! But again the test came out negative. What the heck. I was so mad. They had no answers. After all those doctors appointments we found nothing but 40$ less in my bank account. I hate copays.

Thursday she was pretty much a pill all day. Elliot was so funny... he just didn't get why she was acting so needy. I told him because she's sick and I told him that is exactly the same way you act when you are sick. Husbands are so silly. But at least she did take a good nap. She was pretty happy the rest of the night and she just wanted to keep talking to me all night long and sing. She loves to sing. It's so stinking cute.

Today she finally went pee in the potty. I was so excited, I was screaming and hugging her. She seemed pretty excited to. She wanted to tell boppa (grandpa) and Nana (Grandma)and of coarse Dadda.

She still has a stuffy nose but I can deal with that so much better than all the pee.

I just don't ever know when it's time to take her to the doctor. My sister always says your mothering instinct will tell you. But I just don't know some times.

Oh man! Poor mama and baby! Man I have been lucky... Joey has only thrown up a handful of times, never hardy spit up either. Jeanie on the other hand spits up all day long so I guess I am not out of the blue yet. I can't believe how much you say Josie talks, real conversations and all! Joey is just being a boy and putting off talking!

Sorry about the rough week! I hope it keeps getting better. Don't feel too bad about knowing when to go to the doctor or not. I am horrible with that! It seems when I decide to take Katelyn in, she is fine or just has a virus she is suppose to kick by herself, and when I procrastinate taking her in because I think she'll get better on her own, I find after several weeks that she has an ear infection or something like that.

Oh my heck sister that's crazy man. I know what you mean I hate going to the doctor and they send you right back home cause they didn't find anything, that stinks. Well that's good they gave her a blessing. Maybe she has the same stomache problem, I don't know. Love you and hang in there. I bought you and Josie a china gift yesterday I hope you like them.

I agree with Tara. I am the same way when it comes to doctors. Plus I am so cheap that I don't want to go unless I have to.

That is weird w/the combo or throwing up and not peeing. Maybe it's related to the kidneys. My sister had this condition (only while she was a child) and she had to take medication.....I'll have to talk to you about it. But don't worry unless it continues or happens again.
I hope this week goes better for you!

I hope Josie's feeling better now, and you're not getting thrown up on or peed on anymore. Isn't motherhood fun...
