What a week...

This week has been so busy. First my sister came from Wyoming to spend the week with us. WAHOO!!! I always get so excited when she comes to town. Steph I miss you already. We don't realize how crazy it can be with all the cousins together. All girl cousins might I add. Our week started out with going to Ikea on Monday. It was so fun to hang out with my nieces. Brooklyn and Riley you guys are growing up too fast.

Then on Tuesday Josie and I went to her first friend birthday party at Wheeler Farm. She loved it. She loved driving the tractor the best. She loves horses right now. When she saw the horse she grabs my hand and pulls me to it so she could get a close up look. She gave a big NAH! We sure have to go back there asap. She loved the goodies bags and the delicious cupcakes.

Wednesday was the craziest day. All five girls cousins were in my small 1100 sq foot apartment. You can imagine all the craziness. But it was fun for us three sisters to catch up on things. When they all left Josie took a 3 hour nap. That was pretty long for her.

Thursday, It seemed to be a never ending day. Thank Heavens for Elliot. He helped me out around the house so much before he had to go to work. Thanks honey, you are the best. I had so much to do with work. I signed a bunch of leases and then I had three haircuts and dyed my cousins hair. I was so tired by the time the day was over I sat on the floor and said, "I am not moving."

Friday came and I for sure didn't want to get out of bed. But I got woken up at 6:45 am by something. I had a doctor's appointment at 8:40 am, I thought I might have something wrong with my tear duct again. It wasn't clogged when he stuck the needle full of water through my tear duct, thank goodness. He said that the new canal that the tears were going through might be closing up and they might have to put a balloon through it to open it up again and then put another stint in it, for six months. But that was the worse case. He said it might be a sinus infection but I don't think so. It just doesn't feel like that kind of pain. He gave me some antibiotics, so hopefully they work.

I was able to leave my aprtment thanks to Melissa to go to Layton for my nieces birthday party. My sister already had a hard day by the time we got to her house. Allison got stung by a bee...twice...in her bedroom...in the middle of the night. Her eye was swollen almost shut. Her eye looked Chinese. They had to turn off the air conditioner so the bees wouldn't go through out the house through the vents. It was so HOT in there. They found out the bees came through the foundation up in the attic and pecked there way through the ceiling. Right above where Allison's bed was. They had Pest Control people come and there were like 50 dead bees or more come through the hole. Poor kid! Allison turned five. Wow, times fly. We played at MY GYM. It's a little kids play gym. Josie couldn't wait until she could get on all the toys. She loved it. When we headed home before we even pulled out of my sister's house Josie was fast asleep. It was a great week seeing most of my family. It was a fun surprise to see my little brother come down from Logan. Love ya Ryan.

Saturday, I had to take Steph to the airport... of course I parked in the wrong terminal area and we had to walk a long ways to get to the right one. If you can imagine 2 adults, 1 four year old, a baby in a stroller, 3 suitcases on wheels, a booster seat and a car seat that we had to get to the terminal all at the same time. I was proud to say it went pretty smooth. Then I got home and Josie was very cranky. I picked her up and she was so hot. I took her temp. and she was about 100.3 degree's. Elliot's been planning a date with a friend from Snow college and an old missionary companion for about a week so I couldn't ditch out. My Mom was so nice to tend Josie even when Josie wasn't feeling good. What a wonderful Mom. Thanks your the best. I know I can always count on you.

On our date we went to Farmington Canyon and went shooting and for a surprise we also went paint balling. I've never done paint balling before. I was kind of timid because I bruise like a peach. The guys told us that we were going to be hunting them. (Thank Goodness) We were the Americans and they were the Mexicans trying to get across the boarder. The guys had to get a flag to a certain area without getting hit. It was pretty exciting. The guys got some red marks but we didn't hurt them too bad. It was kind of raining and it was getting dark so we weren't able to play too long. We all really enjoyed ourselves. It felt like elliot and I were still dating. But I have to admit I'm glad I'm not. I love that I can hold his hand when I want and give a big hug. Without all the dating games. Then we went to a new place in Bountiful to eat dinner. We ate ribs, potato's, salad and a beget. It was so good. We were all starving. It was so cheep to0. $9.50 a plate and the portions were huge. I would recommend it to anyone. It's called Thyme and Season's in Bountiful.

When we went and picked up Josie from my mom's house she had a temp. of 101.7 and it was going down. She was crying wanting her mommy. I felt bad that I wasn't there for her but she had the next best thing a grandma and a nurse. Last night she woke up with a fever of 102.7. I have no idea what is causing this because she doesn't have a cough a little runny nose but that's about it. She's been sick off and on for over 10 days so I guess it is time to take her in. Sorry for the very long post. Hope everyone had a fun week too.

Wow Mel, I'm glad your keeping busy! It seems like there are some weeks where I feel like I don't have time to go to the bathroom and others I don't know quite what to do with my time.

Well I sure miss you and wish I could see you sometime.

The picture of Josie at the top, is so cute. She is so precious.

Oh it's so nice to hear all of the details of what's going on with you guys. I told Ben about the paint balling, we both thought that sounded so fun. I hope your eye gets better and Josie feels better. Love you.
