Do you want to go PEE???

This is the question I've said all day. I'm so tired. I've decided to potty train Josie. I know you all probably think I'm crazy for training a baby (she is 21 months.) She can hardly talk. But she can talk in her own little language( that only me and Josie can understand) She's been doing very well, surprised? I am too.

She woke up with a dry diaper today. She peed in the potty like 4 time today. I'm so glad that my friend Melissa told me about this book. Toilet training in less then a day. It really seems to work with Josie. I think the biggest thing I've learned from it is to always be happy for the things she has done right. To always focus on the good and not the bad. For example... she's learning to pull her pull-ups up and she can sit on the potty and pee in it. If I focused on all the things she can't do I would go crazy. She is scared to go number 2 in the potty. I guess I'll just take things one at a time. Another thing that seems to work pretty well is after you give her a drink wait about 15 min and put her on the potty and she usually always goes pee. YAY!!! If anyone is thinking about training there kid. Make sure they are interested in the potty. Josie always loved to flush the toilet and stuff like that. Also buy the book. She also loves potty treats.... Thanks again Melissa.

My mom always told us that she potty trained us at this age, 18 to 24 months. I never believed that she really did. Sorry mom for not taking your word for it. Thanks for supporting me with this crazy decision. Your the best.

She's taking a nap right now and she went potty right before she went to bed. I am so amazed by this girl. She gets so excited to tell me that she's peeing. She usually whispers,"Momma." and points down at the pee in the potty and I always go crazy. She loves to tell her dad that she went pee's too.

I also love Pull-ups, they are so easy to pull up and down instead of putting her diaper back on. Hopefully she'll be able to wear her big girl underwear soon. On Saturday night she wanted to put all her underwear on. I'll give more updates later.

I started potty training both my boys when they were around 22 months. It worked out pretty well for us. Good luck!

What I can't believe is that she is already two!!!
Savannah was fully potty trained by two, but we are just getting Ian fully potty trained--he's almost 3 1/2. I was starting to think I'd never get him trained, but once they show the interest it's easy.
