Life with a two year old

Lets see where to start...we finally moved but not to our home as you all now. We just got a call from our realtor and the seller is going to move back the closing date yet again. Who knows if we will ever move. Were shooting for next Friday but I don't think they'll keep that date either. It's been nice to be at my mom's...I've been really tired and I've had hardly any energy. It's been great to have a few more hands to help out with Josie. I've been tempted to awnser their home phone by saying, "this is Braewood apartments, this is Melanie." I seriously have to think about it before I anwser the phone.

It was a great day yesterday I was able to do my cousins hair, take a nap and go shopping at Target. I felt so free!!! The only thing that went a little wrong...Josie accidentally ate a penny. She was pretending to drink from a cup and then some how she put some coins in the cup and then she again pretended to drink from it. That's when my mom heard choking. Hopefully it will pass...that's what the doctor said to me. I guess if their not too worried then I shouldn't be right?

The binky is totally gone and sometimes I think I miss it more than she does. She talks alot more these days. Her favorite phrases are, "What's dat?", "WHY?", "Puppy stay." (she says that to my parents dog all day.), and "Meow?" (she wants to play with the neighbors cat all day long, we have to tell her that its asleep a lot.) She has such a fun personality I just love this little girl. Oh ya...she also says my baby, "my baby?" and she lifts up her shirt. She's kind of getting the baby thing but then she said, "daddy baby" so I guess not so much.

She is such a cutie! Way to go getting rid of the binky. I think we will let Sophie keep it untilshe is ready to go to high school if she wants it. Just kidding. Maybe only junior high. :)

Hello Toby!!!
She ate a penny???!!! Oh my gosh that is so stinkin' scary. I'd be freaking out I don't know what the doctors are thinking, hello. I'm sure she'll be fine though. Later little sister

Come back! Just kidding. we miss you already....
That is good that she didn't choke more than the little bit. My sister Jennie, swallowed a penny, when she was just a baby though, and nearly died. Thus the nickname Jennie Penny1
Hope you get into your home soon!!! What a pain!
I was thinking about you yesterday on your first day off wondering how you would spend it. Glad you enjoyed it!

Belated congrats on the impending arrival!! That's so exciting! Sorry about the house taking forever, I'd be so frustrated by now too, at least your parents have room for you right now!
