MOVING OR NOT?

I have a question for all of my reader out there....I am sick of my managing job and I just don't know what to do. Should I stay or should I go. If I want to be out by the end of March I need to give notice by March 1st. Another question should I stay in the same complex and just move to another apartment (for the third time) or should I look for some where else to live?

Pros
Cheap Rent
Save for a house.

Con's
I have to stay home all day. 10-6pm
I have to get ready everyday. Some days I just want to stay in my sweatpants and do stuff around the house.
I have to have my house cleaned and ready to open by 10AM every morning.
I can't go and do what I want when I want.

I guess I've made up my mind up but I just need some second opinions.

If your are hating it that much I would stop, it doesn't seem to be enough to make it worth it. (Even though I could use the motivation to clean and get ready!) I would look around at more apartments also... just in case there are better or closer to work for your husband.

that's a toughy! it would be so nice to have money put away for a house but is it worth all the misery? i think if it was me, i'd look into moving somewhere else--get a brand new start!
sorry about last week! i would have LOVED to get together with you but since my parents are the ones who paid for the wedding, they were pretty busy getting stuff ready and the whole reason i stayed with them was to help, plus the no car...lame-o. maybe next time!

I have the answer for you. Stay here! But quit managing, and move to another apartment so that we can hang out. OK, I'm only saying that because I want you stay, and quit managing.(Was that an option? You have no idea how bad I want you to stay! Seriously). All selfishness aside, you and Elliott are the only ones that can make that decision. You know what's best for your family. If you don't know, you know how to find out. (But take it from me... it sucks when you don't get the answer you want!) Good luck deciding!

PS this is the longest comment I've made in my life.

Definitely quit managing.
But....some of us may be leaving the end of the summer.....possibly all of us (even Leanna and Wendy don't know for sure).
These apartments are decent sized, esp w/one kid. But anything bigger is so expensive.
Ward is good. Neighborhood is decent.
Um, I like you living here at least through the summer....but that means you'd have to stay in these apt's.
I'd look at other rental options too.

I am finally commenting. You know exactly how I feel about managing. I say put in your thirty days notice and keep looking for cheap rent. That's we did, and our prayers were answered. Don't lose faith, whatever you do! Love ya!

joel says "follow you hear that's what i always do" he is of course quoting Napoleon dynamite. haha.

as for myself... mel i think you are over this whole managing thing. i would have been a long time ago haha. but srly you will just be miserable all summer if you continue to do it. i say ax the managing. i know it's cheaper rent....but it just isn't worth it ya know?

as far as moving into a new apt or staying i really don't know what would be best. i think you should look at the cost etc. i also liked emily's thinking... maybe there is something closer to elliots work? either way i think you do need a change in your life. you need to break out of your prison. home should be a sanctuary where you can relax... as long as you manage it will be hard to have that ya know? ok that is all.

oh and i am going to miss being close to you. :*( you are a great friend. thanks for all that you do!
