The night before I went down to Orem and stayed with Jenny so I would be there in the morning to do her hair. It was very hard to get down there because Josie was not acting like herself at all. She is usually such a very good girl. She wouldn't take anything, Milk...NO, Food...NO, and not even her Binky. Finally after an hour of crying I finally asked Elliot to give her a blessing. She seemed to calm down pretty well and after I sang I am a child of God a million times. She then wanted to go eat and be a happy girl and play with her cousins. Elliot told me that she had an explosion right as I was leaving. Josie's been really constipated lately so we think this was why she was acting the way she was. Thank heaven's for the priesthood. Thanks Mom for telling me that when we were little and inconsolable you would have our Dad give us a blessing.
I finally made it down to Jenny's around 9pm and didn't get to sleep until around 2am. Jenny and I kept talking. It was so fun to reminisce of the old days and talk some girls talk. She's like the younger sister I never had. I was so privileged that she asked me to do her hair. I've been having nightmares about her hair. I was so afraid that it wouldn't work out. We woke up around 7am and my aunt Dottie comes in and tells Jenny that it's time to wake up. I yell, "YOUR GETTING MARRIED TODAY!!!!" They all laughed.
I finally was starting her hair...it wasn't working that well at first. I started pinning up hair and then took it out. My hands were shaking. I was so nervous. I've done a lot of hair for bridal pictures but never for an actual wedding day. Finally her hair started working with me. I think it turned out pretty good. I hope Jenny liked it.
It was a crazy night for Elliot. Josie kept waking up and asking for MOMMA. I was thinking about it and I've only been away from Josie for three nights and she's almost two years old. Boy do I need a vacation. She's very attached to me. I guess I don't blame her I'm very attached to her too. Elliot was able to get her ready and take her over to my good friend Melissa's house for two hours. Then my mother in law was going to pick her up until the luncheon was over. Thanks you guys. I hope she was good for you Melissa, I owe you big time. Elliot said it broke his heart when he left her at Melissa's because she was crying when he left.
Holly and I got to the temple kind of early so we were waiting around until everyone else showed up. It took my Dad and Elliot forever to find a parking spot. They thought for sure that they weren't going to make it to the wedding. They ran from where they parked to the temple waiting room to make it on time.
The temple ceremony was amazing. The sealer was so in tuned to the spirit. I for sure got some big insight to go to the temple REGULARLY. The sealer was so funny and it was so cute when he called Jenny sister Bennion. I love weddings, they make you think about your own special day.
I was able to go with Jenny to help her fix her hair after the ceramony. It wasn't that bad but I was glad to help. It was fun to see all the brides getting ready in the bridal room.
My aunt Dotties family (Jenny's Mom).
The Luncheon was great... Elliot was asked to play a cello/violin duet with Jenny's aunt Alisa. They are such opposites when it comes to how they play there instruments. Alisa plays by ear and Elliot has to read the music and he's very technical about the music. They were amazing. They played Over the rainbow from the Wizard of Oz.
That night we went down to Lindon and went to the reception. They had cut outs of Jenny's brothers in the line. Jenny's two younger brothers are on missions. Robbie is in Mexico and Grant is in Ukraine.
Here is the Cake and the cake smashing.
Family at the wedding reception.
My favorite picture. My niece Riley was so tired.
My other cousin Karen caught the bouquet. YAY, Karen!!!
The happy couple tired out by the end of the day at the reception.

her hair looks so cute, Melanie!
Josie was great. She whimpered for 2 seconds after Elliot left, and then she was fine. I was doing her hair and she climbed up next to me and asked me to do hers so I did. It make me want a girl so bad!
She was great!
excellent run down of the day how fun. I know what you mean when you say these sealings remind you of yours. I bawled like a little baby at parly's and Jessica's. Great job on the hair, it's very cute in the pictures. Good talking to you on Skype love you
