We went to Lagoon on Monday the 4th of August. We went with most of my family. We went on some crazy rides. I have a very daring family. I get motion sickness so I know which rides I can and can't go on. My dad's the same way, so we stuck together with the kids the rest of the day. We went to Lagoon a Beach for the first half of the day and then the rest of the day at Lagoon. I thought the funnest thing that we did all day was when my dad decided to go on the Rocket with my other sister Michelle. He's not very daring, so I was very surprised. We didn't even have to talk him into it. I sat right next to him and I didn't know if he stopped breathing or not. He just kept saying, "Oh no, Oh no." Then I didn't hear anything until we got off the ride. He said he liked it. But I don't know if he'll do it again. Elliot, Ben, Michelle, Lisa and Allison were the dare devils. They did almost every roller coaster in the park. Elliot usually hates roller coasters but for some reason he loved every minute of them this time. My mom went on a bunch of spinning rides with my niece Allison and I think that did her in for the rest of the night. I hate spinning rides. I've thrown up at Lagoon many times (samari and the spinning slides really get me) and I was determined not to get that way this time.
Josie had fun for the most part. The day started out rough because she didn't sleep good the night before. But it got better after she took a nap. She liked the water by the time we were done. Her favorite ride was the train. She could do all the sound effects of the animals and the train. It was so fun to do. She kind of liked the boat ride but I think she would have liked it better if she had a buddy.
It was really fun hanging out with Ben, Michelle and Brayden all day. We really haven't been able to hang out much because they have been gone at school. We are sure going to miss you guys. Love you guys and be safe in China.

I haven't been to Lagoon in years. Too bad you get sick, though. I love roller coasters!

Allison said, "Oh that's Josie. She's so cute." Great job telling the story of all of us at Lagoon. I want some of your photos. I didn't realize I was in the "dare devil" category. Great job!! We had a lot of fun.
Hey Mel, these pictures are to die for. I love Josie's cheese, it kills me. It's so good to see Elliot too. What a darling family you have.
